Responsibilities

• Serving as an engaged member of a global team creating and implementing strategic communications and engagement campaigns for a range of clients across industries and sectors.
• Providing daily, go-to communications support for decision makers and deadline-focused executives.
• Writing persuasive internal and external communications materials.
• Leading trusted media engagement.
• Maintaining a current familiarity with key issue areas.
• Demonstrating a strong acumen related to the news environment.
• Managing multiple projects with rigorous attention to detail and deadlines.
• Composing compelling memos on a range of substantive issues.
• Mentoring colleagues and managing teams to achieve business/client objectives.

Qualifications

Applicants should have superb writing skills, a track-record of success working in dynamic professional services settings, a sophisticated knowledge of the media landscape, and an understanding of communications strategies around complex business and legal matters. Exceptional judgment, integrity, and collegiality are required, and a great sense of humor is essential. A bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of previous experience in government, an agency, professional services firm, and/or in house are preferred.
